I have tried this various institutions and works good. I miss a reporting and download function, hope will be included in next release. Keep it up.

I dont speak Japanese and therefore cant use online banking here. This app saved me from needing to check my balance with the ATM.

Good design and great concept. Just a couple of problems: Cant connect to Mizuho. Keeps asking for a certain relatives birthday and keeps rejecting it.

I finally tried this out, but pretty quickly stopped. The product simply doesnt display useful data in graphs out of the box. Heres why: 1) Bank account history is not downloaded & displayed in graphs, even if it can be. Ive been wanting, for a while, to have some easy way to visualize the flow of money through my accounts retroactively and in the future. Only the future case works here, unfortunately. 2) Graphs use linear, not logarithmic scales. If your range of spending is very wide, you wont ever be able to see the smaller transactions. 3) There are bugs in the cash in/cash out display: incoming foreign transfers have no effect on cash in. I contacted their support about this stuff, and most of the answers I received were along the lines of, "we thought about this, but decided to do it this way, because...". I really, really appreciate that level of support. Moneytree is great in this regard. However, I have to be honest in my review of the app--I dont think the best decisions were made about some of these things, or that enough edge cases were tested, and the screenshots I sent should be pretty clear in indicating that the graphs are more or less useless for me as a new user. (The transaction history & balance are there, but they are also there if I log into my banks web site.)

Terms are only available in Japanese. App may be great in Japan but is poor for use in USA.

Love the revised cash entry and the simplified menus. I don’t think anyone else shows your card status, which helps keep me from being surprised at my card bills. Also happy that Moneytree finally allows users to attach scans and photos of receipts to expense transactions. Hope this works with the revised eTax laws that will be announced soon!

Makes managing finances and expenses a joy.

Tracks my finances over time, shows my net value, tells me when payments are due. Everything I could need.

Not being fluent in Japanese, the opaque and old-fashioned, and over-complicated banking systems here have plagued me for the twenty years Ive lived here. Suddenly, Moneytree makes the pain pretty much disappear. I can check my bank and other financial accounts in English, on the go. I hope for Moneytree integration into services like YNAB, to make banking and budgeting even more painless. Well worth the monthly fee if you have to deal with banks in Japan!

That pretty much says it all. Works with all my bank accounts and credit card, fairly intuitive and easy to use, never buggy. Took a bit of time to set up because I wasnt registered for online banking at a few of my banks, but once that was done it was a breeze.

I keep track of my cash expenses with Moneytree religiously. And it ended up being a lifesaver around tax time - way better than dealing with a box full of receipts. The graphs are a quick and beautiful way to figure out how Im doing financially.

I have been totally blown away at the attention to detail in this app and the amazing customer service they offer. And they do it all in English in Japan. If you are looking for 1 app to help track all your yen in Japan this is it.

Thank you so much for making this app available on the US App Store. This is a godsend for us ex-pats. It runs smoothly and is extremely helpful with figuring out how to setup your cards account info. Im recommending this to all my friends. Sooo good! Thank you again!
